(Senior) Expert IFRS-Accounting (gn) - Group Accounting & Reporting

For our client, a TOP global player in the insurance industry, headquartered in Munich, we are searching for a highly organized (Senior) Expert IFRS-Accounting (gn) – Group Accounting & Reporting with strong analytical and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

You participate in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements under IFRS and the Solvency II reporting requirements

You will work closely with the international subsidiaries and guide the local accounting departments on IFRS,consolidation and Solvency II topics

You analyze the results of our subsidiaries for actual and plan reporting purposes and provide to-the-pointsummaries to management

You will take over supporting tasks in the area of project streams for the Group-wide implementation of new standards, e.g. IFRS 9 and 17

They act as an interface to the internal departments like Investor Relations, Actuarial, Controlling, Risk and external auditors

Key Qualifications:

You have successfully passed your studies in (preferably) Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathemathics or a related field

You have multiple years (3+) of relevant job experience in dealing with IFRS; experience in a group accounting function or a big four company is a plus

You have profound accounting knowledge in IFRS; Knowledge in IFRS 17 and Solvency II is an advantage

You are always willing to learn new things and constantly want to improve your skills

You have the capability to work under time pressure and manage deadlines

You have sound knowledge and experience with SAP (FI, BW)

You are fluent in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
